The Art of Jodi Lynn – “Creating the Essence of God”
“Use What I Gave You.” – Holy Spirit

Then he was told, “Go, stand on the mountain at attention before God. God will pass by.” A hurricane wind ripped through the mountains and shattered the rocks before God, but God wasn’t to be found in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but God wasn’t in the earthquake; and after the earthquake fire, but God wasn’t in the fire; and after the fire a gentle and quiet whisper. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. Suddenly, a voice came to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” –1 Kings 19:11-13

There was a time when my voice was quiet—almost lost in the noise of life. For years, I carried a longing I couldn’t quite name: a desire to create and to explore. Creativity had always lived within me, showing up in different forms through each season. But it wasn’t until I entered a deep, intimate season with the Lord that I began to truly understand who I was.
In that intimate space, I discovered the truth of my identity—not just as a woman with dreams, but as a daughter of the King, Jesus. That truth settled deep within me, awakening something that had long been hidden away.
About ten years ago, I picked up a pencil again. It was a quiet moment, but it marked the beginning of something extraordinary. I began to draw—simple sketches at first, but they carried emotion, depth, and story. Over time, my art evolved. I moved from pencil to ink, from watercolor to acrylic, from sketchbooks to canvas. Each medium became a new language, a new way to express the truths stirring in my heart.
I never imagined myself as a storyteller. But now, I see that storytelling has always been part of me. I record time through photographs, through paintings, through drawings, and through the experiences that shaped my life and the lives of others.
Each piece I create is a reflection of the journey I’ve walked and the dreams that once lay hidden. I’ve come to understand that recording time of ” The Way” through storytelling is not just what I do—it’s who I am in Him first as a child of God. My purpose in Him flows through that space.
And now, the next chapter is calling.
It’s a chapter about recording the stories of “the least of these.”
About giving a voice to the voiceless.
About revealing “The Way,” the true character of God, His love, through every brush and pencil stroke in every image created.
