Are You Connected?

Can you see them, they are right in front of you? Can they feel your desire for them above everything else?

Experiencing His Spirit

There is more happening than what is evident with our natural senses… learning to abide fully in who Holy Spirit is allows Him to do His part with guiding you in this life. There are things we can’t see happening but He is already before you and following up behind you .

“God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet!”

New Wine – Walking in the Spirit

There is a time when choosing to follow “The Way,” your soul will learn how to get out of the way for The Spirit to lead. There’s a moment where the old no longer fits. It’s way, though comfortable and familiar isn’t what’s being asked in this season. It’s a paradigm shift. But you can’t have both the old and the new, they don’t fit together.

“He also told them a parable: “No one tears a patch from a new garment and puts it on an old garment. Otherwise, not only will he tear the new, but also the piece from the new garment will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, it will spill, and the skins will be ruined. No, new wine is put into fresh wineskins.   And no one, after drinking old wine, wants new, because he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”  ”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭‬‬

The Way of Love is the New Wine. Sweet, bold, bursting the wine skin of the old way and flowing free within the confines of the new wine skin of Holy Spirit.

“The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going.   So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”  ”

There is more happening here than surrendering. Flowing freely in the New Wine means to submit your soul (mind, will and emotions) set it aside to let the Holy Spirit lead.

That space allows God to a be God. For that I am grateful.

7 Spirits of God

A few years ago, as I sought the Holy Spirit for guidance I heard in the whisper “meet me under the cherry tree” I remember chuckling as that struck me as odd. I had no idea what it meant. I very quickly though could see “my meadow” and that big ol’ tree now had cherry blossoms. I saw myself sitting under the tree with my Yeshua and I remember feeling peace.

An acquaintance later sent me a song called “In Your Midst” by Allie Paige. As I listened face down seeking Him the song was ending and in a moment in the darkness, I was lit up by a breeze of cherry blossoms surrounding me.

Well to say the least I started studying the cherry blossom. Very quickly what caught my attention is it has 5 petals and each petal looks like a heart.  

Fast forward a couple years this verse “jumped” out at me.

Revelation 5:6 RSV

“And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

I was intrigued, “What are the seven spirits which God sent out into all the earth?” and how does it apply to me. I am on the earth.

Isaiah 11:2

“The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—
a Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
a Spirit of counsel and strength,
a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord”

This is a prophecy about Yeshua my Messiah.

The Holy Spirit will rest upon Him. Meaning he would have all authority from Yahweh.

He would have:
Understanding
Knowledge
Wisdom
Strength
Counsel
He would walk in the awe of the Lord knowing who He is and who God is.

There it was the 5 petals.

Understanding
Counsel

Revelation tells us God released this on all the earth Yeshua led the way to this truth.

He was showing me who I am.

But it gets better from there

1 Samuel 17:40

“Then he took his staff in his hand, and chose five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in his shepherd’s bag or wallet; his sling was in his hand, and he drew near to the Philistine.”

David, future King of Israel, as he went to battle chose to “be” who he was a shepherd. He took what he knew for battle.

David knew who he was he listened to Yahweh and lived in the awe of Yahweh.

It is Holy Spirit in us and through us that gives us authority as we open our hands offer what we have and let His consuming fire direct our steps.

Wild Daisies

After a few interesting day spent alone. I had done numerous things in my day. All good things but one thing I did was drive down some side road looking for wild daises. They are my favorite I am not sure what it is about them but since I was a child I have loved them. I could not find any…

I turned 50 in January and it seems that the things of my childhood are circling around again.

Later I found myself “hand mowing” around the fruit trees that I planted earlier in the year. There are a lot more stories to come with land but for today. He patiently listened as I pushed through the long grass that had grown around my trees. For the first part of this time I listened to worship of the Psalms being sung but then I put it away and talked out loud about everything happening in my life. There were tears, reasoning, questioning, singing… as I continued to look at the sun as it passed beyond the trees a peace came over me of knowing, I am going to be ok and I am not alone.

I waited to see if I could see stars before heading home which didn’t happen in its fullness due to the cloudy night and the mosquitoes kept me from keeping my windows open I decided to head home.

As I slowly pulled out of the driveway something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye.

They were simply waiting for me.

The best gift after a beautiful date day my Lord… I real encounter of His unconditional, stable, pure, consistent love.

Flowing Rivers

Take a moment and take a deep breath. Imagine yourself sitting in the middle of the river the water flowing around you. That water flowing around you is healing water taking every moment you have and carrying it to His throne.

Rest in the truth and rest in His presence.

“Then he showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There shall no more be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall worship him; they shall see his face, and his name shall be on their foreheads. And night shall be no more; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they shall reign for ever and ever. And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
