“Throughout my childhood, all I ever dreamed of was painting, drawing, and traveling. But as I stepped into my early twenties—navigating marriage, motherhood, and the rhythms of everyday life—that childhood passion quietly faded into the background. Though I still found ways to create here and there, it wasn’t something I thought about daily like I once did.
Then in 2015, everything shifted. One day, while nannying a little girl, I felt a deep urge to draw her—and that moment reignited something in me. That spark led me into a new season of creativity, one that became deeply intertwined with my journey of discovering my identity in Christ. Even when I couldn’t fully articulate what I was feeling, I found I could express it through art—each piece reflecting the refining process I was walking through.
The collection titled ‘When I Began Creating Again’ – My journey for your story, His Creation and My Yellow Chair captures that journey—from 2015 to 2024—almost a full decade of rediscovery, healing, and growth. This season has been about showing up, creating, and being brave enough to share. It’s a glimpse into my story, my life, and a piece of my personal history.”
