For many years, I have been wrestling with the Holy Spirit about the belief that the church is not significant. Throughout those years, I walked outside the confines of the church building, working with His people. I came to understand that the Acts Church is who my community is meant to be. I struggled in a place of not needing anything from anyone, asking myself, Why do I need the building?
I have asked the Holy Spirit, “Show me. Heal me. Free me from the story I have been walking in.”
Then, just recently, in a moment, the Holy Spirit showed me that “the wall” between myself and the church is not a wall meant to separate us. Instead, it is a place where the church needs help—a place where He is inviting me in to teach from what He has already qualified me with. Relationship with His people is what He is desires. My place to teach the church … one person at a time…

with others,
with the Holy Spirit.
Initially, the wall seemed grand and overwhelming. Then I saw Him turn, standing next to me, reach out His hand, and show me that we are doing this together.
