I attended the Return Conference in Texas the first weekend of May, and to say it was life-changing would be an understatement. I have more posts coming from it, but I just want to share this one.
There were two separate times when I was in the Spirit. The whole conference was going on around me, and yet I lay there on the ground. I remember reaching my hands up to sit up the first time, and I heard the Holy Spirit say, “It’s not time yet.” So I stayed there, just resting in His presence.
Later that day, the second time I was in the Spirit, I was again lying there when I heard Him very clearly say, “Jodi, I want you to look. I’m going to show you something.” It was quite overwhelming to hear His voice, and I cried. Then, in a brief moment, the ceiling of that church seemed to bubble open, and warm clouds began to descend.
This time, everything was blue—swirling blue, very peaceful. I couldn’t see anything else, just the swirling blue. But the thing is, I had seen that blue before just a blue hole opening in the darkness —never with the intensity and the blue-and-white cloud swirling like I did this time. It felt like a hole into the blackness was beginning to open up, as He reveals more and more to me about who I am and how much He truly loves me and who I am in Him.
