This hibiscus caught my eye while I was on a trip to Florida. It was just beautiful, especially the way the sun shone on it. So I thought, why not give it a try?
I wanted to experiment with a new technique by using casein paint over a primed canvas. It was a little challenging because casein tends to produce more muted tones, whereas the hibiscus itself is vibrant in color. Even so, it was a great experience.
